You add funds to your balance up front, and each label you buy is deducted from that balance at the discounted rate shown at checkout. Your balance, deposits, and charges are itemized on the Payments page, so you can always see exactly where your money went. If your balance can't cover a label, we'll ask you to add the difference before completing the purchase.

Yes. Unspent funds are refundable anytime to the original card — contact support and we'll process the refund, less the non-recoverable card-processing fee from your original top-up (currently 2.9% + $0.30). Your funds never expire, and there are no dormancy or inactivity fees.

Auto top-up keeps your balance ready automatically. When your balance drops below a threshold you choose, we charge your saved card a preset amount to bring it back up — you pick both numbers, and you can pause or turn it off anytime on the Payments page. If a charge doesn't go through, we pause auto top-up and email you instead of retrying.
